Eligibility
The eligibility screening asks the ten questions below. Each one shows the answer required to take part in the OT-CARES research study.
To participate, you must answer Yes to:
Are you 18 years of age or older?
YES required
Do you currently provide unpaid care or support to a family member living with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia (ADRD)?
YES required
Can you read and understand English well enough to complete the study materials?
YES required
Do you have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection?
YES required
Can you independently access and complete a self-paced online program?
YES required
And answer No to:
Is the caregiving you provide exclusively part of a paid professional job?
NO required
Are you currently experiencing a mental health crisis that could make participation difficult or unsafe?
NO required
Do you currently have a severe or unstable psychiatric condition that could interfere with reflective journaling?
NO required
Do you have a cognitive, intellectual, or learning condition that would prevent you from understanding the study, giving informed consent, or completing the materials independently?
NO required
Is there any other reason you would be unable to safely and independently participate in this digital program?
